Inter-religious dialogue

One of SweFOR's missions is to inspire people of all faiths to work together for peace and justice. As a Christian organisation, we have a special responsibility to try to inspire the churches to do more for peace.

Religion can play a role in conflict, for good or for bad. Through seminars and information materials, we wish to increase knowledge of the role of religion in conflict. We have an ongoing co-operation with the Muslim peace movement in Sweden. Together we are learning about the peace and nonviolence traditions in our religions.
